Hi there, my name is Jana and I am a female home carer with over 2 years of experience. I'm excited to share my journey with you and I hope that I can make a positive impact on your life.
Caring for others has always been important to me. I believe that everyone deserves to lead an independent life, regardless of their age or health condition. That's why I decided to become a home carer. My clients often describe me as caring, friendly and helpful; qualities that I think are essential for this type of work.
I have experience with various care types including live-in, hourly and overnight care. My skills include bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care and companionship. I have worked with clients with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound, Parkinson's disease, anxiety and depression. When I am not working, I enjoy my hobbies which include painting, walking, cooking and baking and photography. I am also a social butterfly and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
I am comfortable around pets, including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits and birds. Although I cannot drive, nor do I have a car, I like to think I am very resourceful and can get to wherever I need to be.
